Perinatal Loss & Bereavement Care in the 21st Century

In support of improving patient care, Penn Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians: Penn Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 9.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This activity provides 9.0 NPCD hours.

Physician Assistants: AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified forAMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medicalsociety. PAs may receive a maximum of 9.0 Category 1 credits for completing this activity.

Patient Safety and Risk Management: This activity is approved for 9.0 hours of PSRM credits.

The PA State Board of Social Work Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors allows CEUs to be claimed for courses approved by the ANCC.

The PA Department of State and State Board of Funeral Directors have approved this educational activity for up to 9 hours for Funeral Directors. Licensees may only receive credit once per biennial renewal period for attendance at this course. PROVIDER APPROVAL NUMBER: FDCE 000127

Itinerary

We are proud to offer the first in-person Perinatal Conference in over 20 years in Lancaster County to continue to serve our community and fulfill our mission of education and awareness. Registration by University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (accrediting organization). Sign-in sheets for attendance at the entrances of the conference rooms. Overall course evaluation at the end of the conference to be filled out and returned to the registration table. Pre and post test questions by speaker will be presented prior and end of each talk that will be answered by conference attendees.
