Sharon Kauffman is a RN with twenty-five years’ experience in Labor and Delivery; fifteen years of those years with experience and leadership in pregnancy loss bereavement care and perinatal palliative care. In 2007, she was part of an interdisciplinary team that developed the Perinatal Palliative care Program at Women and Babies Hospital in Lancaster, Pa. She has a MSN in Nursing Leadership and Development. Prior to her recent retirement as the Pregnancy Loss Bereavement Care Coordinator and Perinatal Palliative Care Nurse navigator, she held certification from the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurse in Perinatal Loss Care. She has seventeen years of experience as a Resolve Through Sharing Coordinator.
