Dr. Paidas is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist at the Richard D. Wood Jr. Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment (CFDT) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include the psychosocial impact of fetal therapy and peripartum mood disorders, as well as maternal obesity, induction of labor and preeclampsia. Dr. Paidas completed her medical degree and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, in Tampa, Fla. She subsequently completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine.
